Manual Lymphatic Drainage

What it does

The lymphatic system is one of the body's transport and drainage systems, moving fluid through vessels and lymph nodes. Unlike the circulatory system it has no central pump, so it relies on muscle movement, breathing, and the natural contraction of the vessels.

Bronwyn uses gentle rhythmic hand movements to encourage lymph fluid toward the appropriate lymph nodes. This matters most after fat-focused work like cavitation, because the body has to transport and process the material released from the fat cells.

What it feels like

Gentle and very relaxing. Light, rhythmic, repetitive movements over the treatment area and along specific lymphatic pathways. Gentle pressure and movement of the skin, no digging into tissue.

A lot of women are surprised by how light it is, and that is intentional. The vessels she is working with sit close to the surface, so more pressure does not accomplish more.

"Your lymphatic system does not have a pump. You are the pump."
Bronwyn is exactly the person you need when it comes to slimming, toning, and tightening! From day 1, she took the time to help me work through my end goal and specially design each session just for me based on my goals and body needs, which made such a huge difference. She's sincere, genuinely supportive, incredibly friendly. Every visit feels comfortable and encouraging. If you're looking for someone who truly cares about your progress and treats you like more than just a client, Bronwyn is it.
