An add-on, not part of the base session. Bronwyn generally recommends it, but it costs extra and adds 20 minutes, so not everyone takes it.
Specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light penetrate the tissue and interact with your cells. The technical term is photobiomodulation. It supports cellular energy production, circulation, the body's normal inflammatory response, tissue recovery, and collagen production, which makes it a good complement when working on skin quality and tightening. She is clear it is supportive rather than primary. It is not the thing that sculpts your body by itself.
When she skips it: when the session's time is better spent elsewhere, when the client declines the add-on or does not have the extra 20 minutes, or when medications, health history, or other contraindications rule it out.
The easiest part of the appointment. You lie on the bed, she puts the red light over you, and you relax. No pressure, no buzzing, no suction, no strange sensations. Comfortably warm, not hot. Twenty minutes.
"You actually finally have permission to do absolutely nothing for 20 minutes, which most women could probably use anyway."
I had the best experience with Bronwyn! She explained everything in detail and made sure I was comfortable throughout every treatment. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality care.
